Its a good application and helpful. However, when the speed is slow down, the pronunciation is dubbing, less clear.

The abbreviations feature is not working! Its not reading abbreviations like "z.B. In German: zum Beispiel". instead it reads just "z" "B". But its reading English abbreviations constantly in words like"Fragen", a German word to: Frageneral ?! There are a lot of words in German that have "gen" in the end. Also numbers like 100.000.000 are read like: hundred, 000 000 and not 100 million?! Please update and eliminate those problems, otherwise it is not the recommendation. Over one year no changes... Hello, congratulations on your voices . I am using the Vbooks Reader for PDFs very often and Im enjoying it. Except that it is reading in German every word that ends on GEN ( there are a lot of in German ) like ....fragen or sagen ... as "frageneral or sageneral" and the general part is in English?! Would be glad if you could do something about it. Thanks and cheers

I want my money back. In French is doesnt even read it properly. Claims to be free then charges you 6.99$ and I got a robot speaking some broken French very disappointed.

This is a bad copy of Voyzer. It doesnt keep the last read page. Better try Voyzer or Natural reader. This was a waste of my money.

The last update was in 2014 need to optimize for iOS 10. Thanks

A very good application.Nevertheless I would appreciate the following possible improvements: - speed adjustment +-1 - change of settings directly from reader - icon to open the menu because when tapping the screen, it move too fast to other page.

After the last updating a have a problem to update my purchased language - POLISH. The application have not download the language

The voice for the American English mispronounces some words, like fight as g-ht. Id recommend getting the British version.

Over all an excellent product. It does what says it does. Although, I have come across some PDFs (maybe 10%) that for some reason or another are not supported by this product.

Naturally, the quality of the "reading" is based on the quality of the PDF, but the application does a great job. It has a variety of features that allow for tweaking - like speaking speed, language, etc. it is easy to navigate, stop, start, etc. I am very pleased and have already recommended to others.

This app fits the bill For what I need. Yeah, I see 1 complain that its not free... That you only get limited freebie. Well I tried it on a doc I wanted to hear. After page 1 it stopped and prompted me to pay. About 5 bucks. Without a moment of hesitation I did the in app upgrade. I am very cheap and normally would not like spending 5 on an app. This app is well worth it. In fact, I hope the guys that designed it make a ton of money on this app because it does exactly what I need. I wish I could change the voice or train it a buy but all in all its fine as it is. Are there other apps in the market that do this? Im sure there are. This is the first one I saw in a search and it the only one I need. If I had a chance to reconsider my purchase I would still do what I did. I love to listen to lessons, patents, and stuff that I write while driving. To proof "my" stuff its nice to hear here weird voice because it changes my perspective.

Wish I could give it five stars.. The narrator voice sounds robotic at times and it cant say some words so the voice will spell it out for you, which is kind of weird. Also, the red tracking box thingy is super sensitive so it moves easy and you can lose your reading place, which is annoying!! But other then that its a good app.

This app is terrible. This did not work the way I thought it would. I would like a refund please. I bought the English voice 5 minutes ago.

This app is everything it says, I wish it could pick up anywhere on the page... But hey it reads to you on and off the app... And honestly from someone who furthers my education constantly, and can learn off PDFs all day while doing something else like working. Best 5 bucks Ive ever spent...

App is does what it says and reads a PDF. Voice is ok. Search feature does not pinpoint where it is in the doc, but rather puts you in the ballpark of where it is. The redbox changes dimensions and jumps all over screen, would be better to just have a yellow highlight

This is my primary app for reading PDFs for papers I have to read for school. It generally works well for most text with some odd pronunciations here and there. It does poorly on mathematical equations, but if the app does not know how to parse the equation so that it would read it in a mathematically logical with words that would help give context when the equation is not visible rather than just reading characters and symbols this would be a wonderful app. Also reading data in tables in a more natural manner would help a lot.
